Shadowood II, Inc.
Programs and Services to the HIV Community.  Programs that assist the client on the road to independence.  Services that impact lives, services that can save lives.
Currently Shadowood II, Inc. offers the following Services to the HIV Community:

Emergency Transitional Housing:  A homeless person living with HIV/AIDS will be entered  into the Shadowood program within hours (when space is available).  This program runs for 60 days and gives us an opportunity to fully access the clients needs and objectives.

Substance Abuse Housing   Clients who are ready for a change, are enrolled into this program and given a chance to become clean and sober, attend substance abuse classes,  and live in a safe, security drug free environment.

Mental Health Housing:  Clients who are dealing with minimal levels of mental health issues, that may or may not be a direct result of HIV/AIDS are able to live at Shadowood II under this program.  We work closely with Mental Health professionals in the area to best serve this community.  Shadowood II has a collaborative agreement with Henderson Mental Health, the premier mental health provider in this county to best serve this special population.

Project Based (off-site) Housing:  Clients in good standing, who graduate from any of the above programs are offered an opportunity to live in one of our apartments.  In these apartments, each client has his own bedroom and he shares the day-to-day responsibility of living on his own with his room mates.  Chores and expenses are shared as well as establishing the tools neccessary to succeed on one's own.  The program gives the clients the tools and skills neccessary for when he enters his own apartment.

These are the steps that a client must take toward true successful independence.

Pastor Scott, of the First Baptist Church of Weston and his loving Volunteers who came to Shadowood II, Inc. in 2007 when we truly needed their help.  This new patio area is only one example of their loving giving nature.

Thank you most sincerely for all your good works.
